Angelic Pretty Mini Tea Party~

*All Photographs by Angelic Pretty SF* post re-vamped 080813

The 2nd March Mini Tea Party hosted by Angelic Pretty San Francisco was the smallest store hosted event I'd been to, and mingling with a smaller group was nice. There were party games with prizes, snacks and milk tea or lemonade.

When I first arrived at the Miniature Tea Party, I was greeted by the shop girls, Miho & Yuri! They rushed me into a Lolita sandwich.

X-al filled Lolita sandwich on the left and Lolita triplets on the right.

At first we all sat together since not everyone had arrived, ate and chatted.

Everyone was cute, and there was a nice mix of ladies from first time Lolitas, or first time Lolita gatherers, to students and artists.

Plenty of PheNOMinal sweets!

Later we split into two tables.

After mingling a while, we started the games.

We practiced a few times, then played for prizes.

These are the lovely winners!

And more winners!

After eating and playing, we took group photos. Each guest received two photos, an individual shot and group shot as well as a pin.

The front row girls are wearing the French Cafe print I've been fantasizing about. Also the pink biscuit purse visible in the back was tempting me with its soft fabric, practical space and absolute food related cuteness. *Update, I bought the purse!*

After group photos, it was Special Shopping time.

This was an exceedingly lovely photo of our skirts.

The individual commemorative photos, which Angelic Pretty framed as keepsakes.

Love this lovable lovely lady, X-al.

I look Exceedingly Sad here. How interesting!

Sad lolita.

My outfit:
Hand crocheted mini top hat
Two layers of false eyelashes
Alice and the Pirates blouse
Angelic Pretty bunny cuffs
Two toned obi
Angelic Pretty Lucky Pack pouchette
Angelic Pretty Bear's Cafe skirt and socks
Baby*s the Stars Shine Bright Lucky Pack boots

The concept was a classy yet sexy look, using the transparent blouse with a lacy pink brassiere. Also, the obi was a fun touch. It's tied like a big ribbon, and traditionally worn with kimono. ( Although in kimono, one would keep the front part flat, even stuffing under garments to rid any suggestions of curves.) Furthermore, Emily, a party attendee, pointed out that my hime hair style was suited to using the traditional obi in this lolita outfit.

The funnest part of fashion is making an outfit with the tools at hand. With more time, I would have added marshmellow decorations. Look forward to that next time!

All-in-all it was a pleasant time and I made new friends. I definitely want to attend another Mini-party when I can.
