AX D1 2013: Anime Expo Day 1, Magic Carpet Ride~>

Day 1 of Anime Expo 2013! Anime Expo is a huge Anime Convention in Los Angeles held around 4th of July.

Look at the crowd in the Exhibit Hall early in the day. The Exhibit Hall is where Dealers are Artists peddle their wares.

I was volunteering at the Porno Graffitti booth. Porno Graffitti is a Japanese band who've done many anime songs, including the Opening Theme for one of my Favorites, Magi!

I was ill prepared for a day at the booth, so when I mentioned I was hungry, M offered me a cake. Baumroll, first time eating, but not the last! You can get them at Mitsuwa, I heard.

Also, Zekie Cho stopped by to drop off the cards I ordered. These are my First Ever Business cards, of course I was excited. Zekie designed the back. (Will post back shot later.)

Also this Super Deluxe Cosplayer! Look at her Kyary cosplay! It's freaking awesome~> The costume is from this music video.

She gave me a family Christmas Card which is also extremely awesome. Her family was dressed up like Disney's live action Alice in Wonderland! I hope to be that cool when I grow up. ( Photograph of the card...when I find it.)

My lovely friend Collins brought me Spicy Chicken Curry from the food trucks outside. Thank you so much, it was delicious.

I opted for a comfortable outfit for Day 1, not knowing what work volunteering entailed, also to be in a more relaxed mood. Mint Neko everywhere~>

I went over to the h. NAOTO booth (of course) after work.

Below is M on the left, who gave me cake, no lie, and E on the right. Both their outfits are various hNaoto brands.

I shot their outfits, as well as the obligatory fun shots.

E remembered my comment about her spiky shoes, and how she should kick my @$$ with them...

After leaving the Exhibit Hall, I wandered the area in front, where most Cosplayers hang around and get their photos taken. I luckily ran into Trina. I really wanted to see her in her Jasmine cosplay.
