Long walk with Sweet Lou

This is Lou and I enjoying coffee at a hipster cafe before our super long walk. We walked 3 hours, to and fro, wandering, finding ourselves, beach and sidewalks.

I was like, "Look at that hipster bar! Looks kinda douchey. Wanna go?"
And Lou was like, "Yes..."

Tea Time with Ying~>

Recently, although not recently enough, I finally had Afternoon Tea with Ying!

The first time we had tea and snacks at Crown & Crumpet, Ying saw their High Tea and said, "Next time we need to do that."

Well, we finally did that at Tealist, one of my favorite Tea places.
We were both dressed up rather casually, considering another time when we hung out at SacAnime.

We ordered Strawberry Green Tea & Ceylon. They were good. Everything was good. Tealist is very precise about tea steeping times and temperatures.

Guess what I did for Valentine's Day? Gone fishing!
No, that's not my catch, Taurus, who's in the same boat, caught this huge shark.

I only hooked this lil' guy. Isn't he cute?

My outfit was kawaii sea themed, thanks to this neon Tokidoki shirt. It's a bright and eye-catching shirt. (And apparently fish-catching, too.)  And cats love fish, so Hello Kitty.

Gotta take a cheesy photo with my first catch. Technically, I only hooked him for a few minutes. Then the boatman helped me reel it in. Which means another cheesy photo in the future for my first reel catch. Later it was hard work to make sashimi and eat it.

Hello Friends & Lovers! Now you may recognize this Simpsons X Hello Kitty top from my recent post. That is because I love wearing it. It's so comfortable.

I'd an all day meeting two hours' away. So of course, comfort was the priority.

At the meeting I had a few minutes to chat with friends. Miss yous.

 On Tuesday the 25th, I finally watched Big Hero 6! I was wearing a special Hello Kitty x Yurie Sekiya collaboration shirt I bought during Hello Kitty Con.

I highly recommend this movie, if you love Japanese things or Robots or heart touching stories. I only cried three times. It's worth watching over and over for the eye-candy details in San Franscokyo.

Simpsons X Hello Kitty, aDoh!rable~>

Gasp, what doth I spy? Be it so? Yes, it be! 

Simpsons & Hello Kitty collaboration clothing by Japan LA.

This shirt is one-size and super fun to wear. The colours just put me in a good mood and humming The Simpsons opening all day. (I'm wearing it as I blog!)

Growing up watching the Simpsons, I have many favorite scenes. Terms like "Stupid Sexy Flanders," and "We work hard, and we play hard," bring back fond memories. Therefore this collaboration is two of my favorite worlds colliding. (Yeah, I like the Kitty, Hello~>)

New Year's Eve 2013 in Catalina!

For New Year's Eve 2013, we went to Catalina Island for my first time!

And we rode a ferry, because it's an island.

On the boat ride over, we entered some misterious fog that created a blurry rainbow which followed the boat. Later, I saw a few dolphins and tried dolphin calling, and suddenly the rest of the pod surfaced.
