Chocolate Raining, again!

Two more days I wore Chocohana. The coverlet is actually a knit tank top, which due to its drawstring, is quite versatile. Both outfits are Knitwitty.

Alice in Wonderland

For a Lolita, Alice is someone close to our hearts. Even if we don't personally like her, we see her often as a theme. Luckily for me, I love Alive in Wonderland.

So as a last minute Proper Halloween outfit, I chose to do a casual, punk Alice. The punk part is very subtle, mostly just the bright Teal colour and certain patterns bring it to mind, otherwise it's a very simple Alice, indeed.

Simple bow
I carried this Mushroom around. I got him in NY, and there will be more back story on him soon.

Alice took a Mushroom home.

 Cutsew: Putumayo
Apron, Tights & Skirt: Baby, the Stars Shine Bright
Socks: Hello Kitty
Shoes: Steve Madden

My basic concept was Disney's Alice in Wonderland, the cartoon. She dons a simple blue dress, white apron, black ribbon, blond hair, white tights and black shoes. Since I have black hair, I used a blue ribbon. And to increase the bit o' punk, used striped socks.

Headless Alice!
Heart is removable.

My 'Eat Me' photoshoot, with the help of Erin E. She also baked the Black Cat Cookie!

It said, 'Eat Me.'
Almondy.
Eh?
*Gasp*
Whoa!
The Moral of the story: Eat Cookies, get Big!

Beary Casual

This is my Gloomy x Baby, the Stars Shine Bright hoodie. It's a photo from September 2011, but in the Spirit of Halloween, I will blog about it now.
I got this hoodie as part of a lucky pack from San Francisco's Baby, the Stars Shine Bright.
It's super comfortable and might do for a casual bear costume in a pinch. I'd like to dress this hoodie up and make it more Gloomy, with claws and blood. It's the Saturday of Halloweekend, and I don't know what to wear!

Macaron Madness Continues~>

One Wednesday, I wore my new Frill Macaron skirt for the first time! I named this outfit KnitWit, because it has many knit elements.

Like I mentioned in my blog about the hNaoto party that Monday, I've been wanting this print for a while. It's my Birthday and Christmas present to myself. Birthmas. Actually, during the party, Naoto-san pointed out that the skirt matched my stockings, which is why I decided to use them again for my first time.

The Navy blue touches throughout really bring the coordinate together. Been loving Navy recently. Also, this is a super comfortable coordinate, and I can't wait to modify it for Winter weather wear.

Some Hat details, I always have fun arranging.

Knit hat!

Hope you enjoyed this blog. Life's so busy lately, sorry for the delay! Hope everyone's doing what they want, too. Don't forget to tell those you love that you do.

P.S. My title is a reference to this food blog of mine.

New York Working it. Day 1

Today was super long. Woke up at 3:30am, after going to bed around Midnight, to catch a plane at 5:30am.
But it's worth it to be in New York!

I didn't have much time to snap photos today though. I promise to do better tomorrow.

Fast snap before boarding first plane. Guarding the luggage!

The top is actually an Alice and the Pirates blouse. The skirt is a gift from a friend who got it from a friend who bought it in Korea. Not pictured is the fishnet stockings and black boots. It's fun to secretly wear lolita items for serious work outings.

On plane, before flight:

Naked face.

 Landed in NY:

Sleepy already.

 In limo:
Creepy, but you can see the skirt pattern.

I like this Korean drama executive lady inspired outfit. Once I alter the skirt or find a good belt, I can reproduce this outfit and update the blog.

Bonus 1

My Bed, ALWAYS CHECK FOR BEDBUGS!

Nighto with Naoto

Last Monday, my brother, I and friends spent quality time with Hirooka Naoto, the creator and designer of hNAOTO. He was in San Francisco for a few hours after a week in Atlanta for AWA convention. Obviously, I was excited to see him, but it was 'hisashiburi,' it had been a while, since he was in SF. The SF Naoto shop, in New People building, held a miniature party in the evening. As usual they showcased the newest items, and buying $100+ gets an autographed photograph with Naoto-san. (Sometimes I refer to Naoto-san as Father Na because Na Otousan sounds similar.)

The evening began with a drive down to San Francisco. Amazingly we did not encounter much traffic although we drove between 4-5:30pm. But we passed 2 remnants of accidents as well as another huge just-happened accident. The police car and ambulance were trying to get past full lanes on the Bay Bridge. I tried to move right, but there was no where to go. I still remember years ago, we were stuck on the Bay Bridge with some terrible traffic wondering what was the matter. We passed by a smoked-out totally burnt, still-burning white van. It was awful.

Moving on, we arrived at Japantown ~5:30, and went to use the facilities. I had to pin in my headdress, and adjust my outfit. Met up with Crystal M. to have dinner before heading over to the Naoto party. (There was food at the party though!) We ate at Kushi Sushi.

More details on food blog.
Around 7pm, we headed to the facilities, again, and then to the Naoto shop. There were many familiar faces there, and I got caught up in chatting with friends and friend-clerks alike. Father Na came over, waved, and said, "Hi, Cupkeiki." Inside I Kya-ed. Outside I waved enthusiastically. As usual I checked out all the new items in the shop. There were many.

Beautiful hat, Gramm?
Yes, Father Na himself often shops with you, like a good shop boy.
